 | welcome to the work of Ros Cockram At present Ros divides her time between working with her husband Roger at the Chittlehampton Pottery studios - where she assists in the pottery in many areas - and doing her personal art work - in her own part of the studios.
She originally gained a BA degree at Loughborough College of Art and whether through life drawing or designing and making in textiles, over the years she has continued to work in a in a variety of media. |

In recent years, however, she has been painting and her current work is mainly concerned with fruit and flowers set in a variety of contexts. She employs a highly detailed and figurative using gouache and water-colour.
Her current work is in two main areas: |

 | 1. Fruit and/or Flowers Set in a variety of contexts such as lace or marble; |
|
|
 | 2. Gardens Especially gardens with a Shakespeare reference - often in a particular corner and sometimes with a touch of humour and/or fantasy - (e.g.- this one is called "ruff,ruff") |
|
|
|
 |
Her paintings and textiles are also sold through various galleries throughout the UK.
Many of the paintings and drawings are available as prints.
